Join Triple Cities Carousell and friends the night of Friday, April 21st at Atomic Tom's in Downtown Binghamton for a special night of music, dancing, art, and sensory overload. It's gonna get real weird.

TAINA ASILI Y LA BANDA REBELDE: Taína Asili is a Puerto Rican singer, songwriter, bandleader and activist carrying on the tradition of her ancestors, fusing past and present struggles into one soulful and defiant voice. Residing in Albany, NY, she performs her social justice songs as a solo artist, and also with her eight-piece band, Taína Asili y la Banda Rebelde, performing at venues, festivals, conferences and political events across the globe. Taína Asili’s voice exudes strength of Spirit, filling listeners with the fervor for freedom and inspiring audiences to dance to the rhythm of rebellion. During Taína Asili’s 20-year career of creating music for social change she has toured the country many times, toured Europe from Ireland to Germany, and has performed in Canada, Mexico, and Puerto Rico. Taína Asili has performed at many well-known festivals and venues, sharing the stage with renowned artists and activists such as Talib Kweli, Cornel West, Ursula Rucker, Sonia Sanchez, Tom Morello, Paula Cole, Jello Biafra, and The Sierra Leone Refugee All-Stars.
NEW FAME WITH DJ SKULZ: Adrienne Mack-Davis and feleciacruz have spent the last 4.5 years traveling the world living a life of shows, service and self-development. With over 800 performances and 50 workshops in 7 countries and countless cities/states the ladies have finally found their DJ. Skulz is from Saigon, Vietnam and has an incredible ear for genre blending, his virtue, unsurpassed work ethic and enthusiasm in every moment made him an instant part of the team. For a year the three have been working together creating a show and sound that weaves in and out of freestyles, DJ sets and original music by songstress Adrienne Mack-Davis backed by feleciacruz. Always pushing a positive message throughout a combination of hard hitting hip-hop, dance, trap, reggae and dancehall tunes these three high energy artists are sure to leave you feeling like you can fly and wanting more!
WAVE MAGNETIK: Wave Magnetik is an electronic music duo lead by producer and trumpeter Donald Malloy. Wave Magnetik is Zedd meets Miles Davis. Donald plays trumpet and DJs with live drums. Based out of New York City Malloy has worked with Grammy Award winners and nominees such as, Tye Tribbet, Nicholas Payton, Roy Hargrove, Wallace Roney, and Renee Neufville (Zhane). Wave Magnetik has been touring since 2013. They have performed at venues such as The Detroit Electronic Music Festival, The Youngstown Jazz Festival, and The Tri-C Jazz Festival. They have also been featured in such publications as "Unheard Voices Magazine",MWR Blog, and Jazz Times where Wave Magnetik's music was refered to as "GENIUS."
RAIBRED: Raibred is a progadelic jamband from the Binghamton, NY area. Raibred formed as a band in the fall of 2011 and have played over 150 shows all across the NY/PA region. At a Raibred show, you can never expect to see the same show twice as the sets are constantly evolving. Originals have a wide variety of genres from jazz fusion, funk, progressive rock, psychedelia, etc. Raibred lives for improvisation and being able to have the freedom to express emotions through music. So if you ever decide to come and check out one of Raibred's shows, expect a raging night and the thrill of not knowing what is coming next...
DJ MARTIN SHAMOONPOUR: Tehranian- born, Binghamton- based musician Martin Shamoonpour has been known to play a little bit of everything, including but not limited to three recorders at once, jaw harp, and a Mountain Dew bottle with a PVC pipe inserted into it. His DJ sets are just as eclectic as he is, blending recorded Middle Eastern beats with live instrumentation, making improvised electronica on the spot.
